Well today is Saturday and Daniel and I had already decided that we would do an Outreach this weekend. But after waking up and seeing it was going to be a beautiful day, and that we had absolutely no help at all, not to mention that I did not get a chance to advertise it, I truly did not want to go soul winning but rather go to the beach instead, especially after the week that I had.
Before we even got there to set up only 2 tarps and a few tables on 41 in Pt. Charlotte we already had sweat running down our faces. All I could think of was “You got to be crazy, why are you doing this today, it’s so hot out here no one going to come” “You know that your crossing into the season to have bigger doors opening for you in ministry, so why are you still doing these small outreaches?” But set up we did, and one by one some families did come, we gave them, food and clothes and ministered to them. I found myself asking Daniel “did we remember to pray and cover ourselves with the Blood before coming out here’. Actually we had several people come out today that I thought to myself “Lord can I pray with them, without touching them please? I really don’t want to touch them”. Sometimes you see things even in the natural that helps you see deeper into their spiritual life that makes you think “Ohhhh Myyyy…I’m sure glad I know who I am in Christ Jesus!” About 1 1/2 hr. later we started packing it up. But at the last minute a daughter and mom came that had several children, and I had remembered them from a phone call they had given me at an earlier date. I knew this family truly had needs so I was happy help them. I could see that they truly needed a lot of help, not only physically, but spiritually as well. But as I yield myself to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to wash the fleshly thoughts away from my mind , as Christ loved the unlovable, and touched the untouchable and did not think twice about it, I also get a new perspective on things, God’s prospective. But as I looked closer at this one family that came especially with the eyes of the Spirit I found my heart really going out to them esp. there little girl. She had some physical defects, but she was one of the cuties little girls I’ve ever seen. As I looked at her physical problem my heart absolutely went out to her, and then her whole family as well. Now though I was sweating some fierce at this point and my flesh still screaming “Why are you not at the beach today, you even made a whopping $2.00 for the ministry today in offerings” But I found the Spirit within me gripping my heart for this family, and wanting to help them more then what I was able to do at that point. I thought OK well the next time I am here..But the Holy Spirit within me said,”No-NOW” So I made arrangements to see them a little later at a different spot on 41 in Charlotte County where it would be easier for us, and Daniel and I went and got them more non-perishables and some toys. In the meantime another family with 5 children called that were in desperate need as well, and so we met both of them to help them.
What a blessing afterwards as we were all on 41 in a circle and they were giving their hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ. What a blessing to see the looks on their faces as we helped them prior to the prayer. What a blessing as I laid hands on that little girl and prayed for her healing. Now I would not of wanting to be doing anything else, be anything else, as I knew I was in the center of God’s will ministering to the ONE that He brought us, all day long, ONE by ONE. I knew that being that I had laid my life down today, that God honored it, and brought Glory out of it after all. Isa. 58 say’s to pour out that which sustains our own life and that we did today, and God honored it! All to their good and their blessing, to the honor of Jesus Christ and more stones in Daniel and my crown.!
Well the Lord told me “You’ll always minister to the One!” Even when your ministering to the masses, you’ll still NEVER get beyond ministering to the ONE! Jesus left the 99 to minister to the ONE. He went after the ONE that was lost, the ONE that was broken, bruised, tarried and torn. Jesus left the 99 (masses) and went looking for the ONE that was left for the enemy to devour and so are we to do the same. Yesterday we went to out for the Holy Spirit to lead us to the ONE! Jesus said that “Growth does not mean that you’ll stop ministering to the ONE!” Jesus loves the ONE…He knows the ONE….We are to minister the Love of Jesus to he One…Here is where the Prophetic comes in…To show the Love of Jesus to the ONE!
ONE by ONE by ONE!
Yesterday was one divine appointment after another, all day long
One of the husbands from the wife that came to our Outreach called us up later on that day, and when he got my answering machine he said that the Holy Spirit was all over him convicting him, and where was my church, did I have services, where could he come to be taught by me. Now I’ve had that message on the machine for a long time now, and where I have gotten comments before, nothing like what did man said happened to him. It was obedience to the day’s demands placed upon us by the Holy Spirit, and so we met him again and ministered to him further. So it’s not always an easy ministering when we go out, you’ll sweat, you’ll get dirty, you’ll get tired but it’s always worth it! Always worth ministering to the ONE!
Come join us when we go out!
